That’s where DEI’s Weather Insurance program comes in, to protect your revenues and/or expenses from adverse weather that could alter the expected outcome of your event.

For Weather Insurance, the Insured provides us with the following: a Dollar amount to protect, the Exact Location, a Date, A Window of time during which a predetermined amount of rainfall would cause a Loss, and the exact amount of Rainfall to trigger the policy to respond. (We offer threshold options starting from 0.25”)

This coverage must be bound 7 days in advance of the Event date, and if - on the day of your event, that predetermined amount of rainfall (or more) occurs, during the specified window of time, at your exact location, then your Policy would pay, whether you cancel the event, or not!
